Qadr Nights –

The Light and Power Emanate from

Muhammadan Heart

From the Realities of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (Q) as taught by Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi.

A’udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

InshaAllah always asking to enter into Allah (AJ) Oceans of Mercy and always a reminder to myself to be nothing, to be nothing. If not for the Grace and Rahma of Allah (AJ) and the love and nazar of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ), and for the Nazar and the Bounty that Awliyaullah (saints) have been given, that Allah (AJ) is saving us, blessing us, forgiving us, and dressing us from Allah (AJ)’s Oceans of Mercy.

Lailatul Qadr – Nights of Power
The odd Nights of the Last 10 Days of Ramadan

A reminder in these mubarak nights, in this holy and blessed month of Ramadan Kareem, that we are entering into the Qadir nights. Prophet (ﷺ) advised us that in the last odd nights of the last 10 days of  Ramadan is dressed from Laylatul Qadr (night of power). And in Qiyam al Layl, that we are experiencing for thirty days and everyone is praying tarawih, and Qiyam al-Layl which is the night vigil.

Reminding myself from the teaching of Awliyaullah, from Mawlana Shaykh Hisham’s teaching, that you have to remember constantly to think outside of the box. The box that Awliya are reminding us is this horrible brain, that is a piece of flesh inside a bone, that has not seen anything, but it tells you everything. Everything is a lie that comes from that brain. It is like going to somebody who hasn’t seen anything but getting information from them all the time. That person constantly telling you everything. So Allah (AJ) is saying: this life is but an illusion to you that you are taking the advice of the head but it has seen nothing. The brain is completely locked in a closet, connected by nerves to some more meat on the outside that is called the eyes.

Heart of the Believer is House of Allah (AJ)

Allah (AJ) is teaching through Prophet (ﷺ), Bismillah ar Rahman ar Raheem ati ullaha wa ati arRasul ulil amri minkum, that you take the way of the heart. The heart is where qalbi mu’min baytullah that Allah (AJ) says: your house and your heart can be My House.

(Surat an-Nisa)
“O You who have believed, Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you… “(The Women, 4:59)

“Qalb al mu’min baytur rabb.”

“The heart of the believer is the House of the Lord.” Hadith Qudsi

The big reality is that you can only find Me through your house, through your heart. If the house, your heart is clean, it becomes My House. It becomes My House and who is going to occupy that heart? Then the Hadith of Prophet (ﷺ) as Prophet (ﷺ) was teaching his Companions that, “You have to love me more than you love yourself,” and that is the darajat (level) of iman, of faith.

“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”

“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

Fill the House of Allah, the Heart with Love of RasulAllah

So if I want my heart to be the house of Allah (AJ), Allah (AJ) says: I am going to put My Most Beloved to occupy that house. It means that it will fill the house with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). That is a true house of Allah (AJ) that its structure, the Qalb is for the love of Allah (AJ). In kuntum tohibon Allaha fattabiooni.

3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumUllahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunobakum wallahu Ghaforur Raheem.” (Surah Surat Al ‘Imran)

“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Holy Quran 3:31)

Allah (AJ) is teaching that: “tell them, if they love Me, to follow the Prophet (ﷺ). Yuhbib kumullah, then Allah (AJ) says: I will love you. So the heart is the House of Allah (AJ) and Allah (AJ) wants the only occupant within that House to be Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ)! So Prophet (ﷺ) comes to complete the equation.

There is always laa ilaha ilAllah Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ) (There is no God but Allah, Muhammad (ﷺ) is the messenger of Allah (AJ). This way is based on laa ilaha ilAllah Muhammadun Rasulullah. Allah (AJ) is saying: your heart is My House but that House has to be clean and purified and that House is only acceptable to Allah (AJ) when the love of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ) fragrance it, it is filling it, because that one is Allah (AJ)’s servant, that is the one who is the Beloved.

Everything is From the Oceans of Muhammadan Light

It means they begin to teach if you are looking for Laylatul Qadr then where was the Qur’an emanating from? From Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). The Qaaf al Qur’an al-Majeed.

50:1– “Qaf, wal Quranil Majeed. ” (Surat Qaf)

“Qaf. By the honored Qur’an. ”  (Holy Quran 50:1)

Allah (AJ) is saying that: Qaf is the Qudrah and the Quwwah (power) in the Divinely Oceans of Power. If you are in search of this Qaaf and Allah (AJ)’s Divinely Qudrah, look to where the Qur’an, Qaaf wal Quran al-Majeed is. He is directly us that look to the Qur’an. Then where did the Qur’an come from eternally?

We are From Heavens, Sent for an Earthly Experience

The guides want you to understand that you are not only people of dunya (earth). but we are trying to acknowledge that we are from the Malakot (heavens). We are from the Heavens and sent for an Earthly experience. We are not Earthly people looking for a Heavenly experience. We are Heavenly beings. Allah (AJ) is reminding that you came from the Malakot, you came from the Oceans of Light, the Oceans of Souls, where there is no form. In that Ocean of Light, as soon as you enter into the Ocean of Light, there is no more you. The drop that goes into the ocean, becomes the ocean.

From Tawheed (oneness) the first usul is, laa sharik (no partner). In that Ocean from laa ilaha ilAllah Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ), can never be you and Allah. Allah (AJ) has no partner; there is no likeness unto Allah (AJ). So it means that ocean which all the souls come from and returning to  is known as Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ). That completes for us laa ilaha ilAllah Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ).

(Suratul Luqman)

“Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.” (Holy Quran, 31:28)

Your Honour is in Your Soul, Not the Body

So your soul is coming from that ocean, it came out as a drop, it gave itself an identity. Allah (AJ) took only a small drop of that and put it into the body. Then the body became something big with an ego, thinking it comes from somewhere special by itself, that it has its own ocean from Allah (AJ).

Allah (AJ) keeps reminding us: O you even come from a sperm, a despised fluid, why are you making yourself so big in your ego? That body of yours comes from nothing and it goes back to nothing. The honour of you is your soul, not the body.

77:20 – “Alam Nakhluqukkum min maa in Maheen.” (Surat al Mursalat)

“Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable (despised)?” (Holy Quran, The Emissaries 77:20)

That is why Allah (AJ) is constantly putting down the body. That that physicality came from a despised fluid, that you have to make wudu (ablution) once you touch it. Don’t think too much about your body and the importance of your body. Don’t think that when we are praying for Laylatul Qadr (night of Power), you are going somewhere with your body. Allah (AJ) is saying: that body, don’t put any value on it, it is going back  to the earth, like a rotten tomato.

But the soul, wa laqad karamna bani adam. That soul is a noble soul, is an honoured soul which comes from the oceans of Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ). Allah (AJ) loves our souls. Prophet (ﷺ) loves our souls.

17:70 – “Wa laqad karramna bani adama…” (Surat al Isra)

“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…” (Holy Quran, The Night Journey 17:70)

When you are Oppressor to Yourself, Go to Prophet (ﷺ)

That is why they are teaching that when you are an oppressor to yourself, Surah four verse sixty-four, when you are an oppressor to yourself- That is why Awliyaullah (saints) are teaching, Mawlana Shaykh are constantly reminding that you are entering the Baab of Maghfirah (door of forgiveness), and above that baab is written from the Qur’an majeed. Allah (AJ) is telling the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that when they are oppressors to themselves, they have to come to you to ask Allah’s forgiveness and then ask the forgiveness of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). Why, because he (ﷺ) is the owner of that ocean.

4:64 – Wa maa arsalnaa mir Rasolin illaa liyutaa’a bi iznillah; wa law annahum idh dhalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfaro Allaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasolu lawajado Allaha tawwaban raheema. ”  (Surat An Nisa)

“And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah . And if, when they had wronged [were oppressor to] themselves, they had but come to you (ﷺ) and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger, they would have found Allah Forgiving, Merciful.”  (The Women 4: 64)

Asking My [Allah’s] forgiveness because they have come against My orders. Asking Prophet (ﷺ)’s forgiveness because you are coming from the ocean of Muhammadun Rasulullah (ﷺ). What you do wrong, you are doing to the amanat, the Trust that Allah (AJ) gave and Prophet (ﷺ) gave.

If you don’t know where you came from, you have no idea where you are going back to. So you become like (someone) retarded and a jahl (ignorant) and you don’t know what you are doing. Marif’ah (Gnosticism) and in the way of Awliyaullah (saints) they know, they are Ahl al-Basirah (People of spiritual vision), their hearts are open. You can’t compare their knowledge with people whose hearts are not open, who have no idea where they came from and they have no idea where they are going back to. Inshaallah Allah (AJ) is Gafoor ar-Raheem, (most Forgiving and Most Merciful). But whom Allah (AJ) grants and whom Allah (AJ) blesses, they come into our lives and teach us, “No, no, you are going back to that light.”

Holy Quran is Emanating from the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ)

So Laylatul Qadr, Allah (AJ) is teaching your soul is going back into that ocean and that ocean has a Qalb, has a center of power. Look to the Qur’an and they say, O Surat al-Yaseen is the heart of the Qur’an.

Means Prophet (ﷺ) is the heart. From the heart of Sayyidina YaSeen (ﷺ) Holy Qur’an is emitting. Allah (AJ) describes: the Qur’an is the Power for all the universes. Everything that is coming into existence, is coming from the Power of Holy Qur’an and everything going out of existence is from the Power of Holy Qur’an. That Holy Qur’an is eternally emitting power to where? To the heart of Prophet (ﷺ)’s soul.

Pray to go Back to the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ)

When you lose the understanding of the form, yaa Rabbi this form is jahl (ignorant), this form has only brought me trouble, this form is nothing but rotten. Yaa Rabbi (O my Lord), let me break the understanding of my form. When you pray, and say “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Great), ask, “Yaa Rabbi let me just to be light and go back into the Ocean of Light, where this soul belongs back to its sahib, in that Ocean yaa Rabbi. And as my soul is swimming in that Salah (daily prayer), yaa Rabbi I am asking specifically to go into the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). For my light to go back into that ocean, to go back into the heart of Prophet (ﷺ) and knocking on the heart of Prophet (ﷺ), yaa Fattah yaa Quloob (O opener of the hearts). Yaa Wahab yaa Wahab, yaa Musabi bal-asbab, yaa Mufattihal Abwab, Ya Muqalibal qulobi wal absar, Yaa dalil al mutahaireen (O guide of the bewilders), because I am bewildered, I am knocking on your door.”

Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya Wahhab. Ya musabbibal asbab, ya mufattihul abwab, ya muqallibul qulubi wal absar. Ya Dalilal mutahayyirin, ya Ghiyathal mustaghithin, ya Hayyu  ya Qayyum, ya dhalJalali wal Ikram.  Wa ufawwidu amri illAllah, innAllaha basirun bil ‘ibad.

O Bestower! O Bestower! O Bestower! O Originator of causes!
O Opener of doors! O Tuner (Changer) of hearts and eyes!

O Guide of the perplexed/bewildered! O Succour for those who seek Your aid!
O Living! O Self-Subsisting One! O (You who are) possessed of Majesty and Bounty!

I entrust my affair unto Allah. Truly, Allah is aware of His servants.

Who knocks at the door of Prophet (ﷺ)? When Allah (AJ) describes wa ma arsalnaka rahmatan lil aalameen, that, “We would have not sent that Mercy but he is complete Mercy for Creation. I would not have brought that Treasure to this filthy existence except that it is a Mercy for all the Nations.” `Aalameen, for every universe in Creation Prophet (ﷺ) is that Mercy.

21:107 – “Wa maa arsalnaka illa Rahmatan lil’alameen.” (Surat Al Anbiya)

“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (Holy Quran, The Prophets 21:107)

Even in Our Salah, we Spell the name of Sayyidina Ahmad (ﷺ)

When our soul is praying and knocking at that door. Worshipness is only for Allah (AJ), but to know my soul is always with my Imam. My soul is always with Prophet (ﷺ). So much so that Allah (AJ) says: even your form, when you make salah I don’t really want to see you, you just copy Ahmad  احمد (ﷺ). You make your Alif ا (standing), you make your Ruku (bowing) as Ha ح, and make your sajda (prostration) as a Meem م, and attahiyaat is a Daal د. Everything about us is emanating and emulating Prophet (ﷺ).

With all of that you are moving and spelling Sayyidina Ahmed (ﷺ) and sending your soul back into that ocean. And asking Prophet (ﷺ) “Please open your door and let my soul to return back. Intercede for me, pray for me, I have asked Allah (AJ)’s forgiveness and Allah (AJ) ordered to go to your door. Asking for your forgiveness and dress us from your mercy. Dress us from your azhemat (greatness), dress us from everything you want to give to us, bless us and present us to Allah (AJ) prue and purified.”

We pray that Allah (AJ) opens more understanding for us as we prepare for Laylatul Qadr (night of Power), the night of the 27th of Ramadan. Sabi wa ishrun (27 in Arabic), for the secret that is contained within 2 and 7. That is a door into that Divinely Presence. It is a door into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). We are asking for our mi’raj (ascension) to Allah (AJ) through the heart of Prophet (ﷺ), pounding on the door of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ), that he opens. And the ulul albaab, the guardians of that door, to open that reality, and the souls to enter.

Every Amr (Command) of Allah Comes to the Heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ)

That reality Allah (AJ) describes, kullun amr, every amr (Command), every authority, every izzah (honor) is moving into that reality.

97:4 -“Tanazzalul malaikatu warroh, fiha bidhne Rabbihim min kulle amr.

“The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. (Holy Quran, The Night of Power)

Where is every amr coming to? If Allah (AJ) is sending Qur’an to the heart of Prophet (ﷺ)’s light, where do you think every amr is coming from? Every order of Allah (AJ) comes to the heart of Prophet (ﷺ). Allah’s greatness is the Holy Qur’an. Everything else must also be emanating from the heart of Prophet (ﷺ).

We ask to move into that reality and asking our souls to be dressed from that reality, be blessed from that reality, to be in the company of Awliyaullah who Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is like a rocket. That by keeping their company, by keeping their hudoor, by keeping their nazar (gaze) and focusing on them, on Awliyaullah, that keeping your nazar upon us, you are like a rocket into that presence of Sayyidina Muhammad (ﷺ). That dress us from that light, bless us from that light, and swshhh, they take you straight into that presence inshaAllah. We pray that Allah (AJ) opens for us the lights and the power and reality of Holy Qur’an and Laylatul Qadr inshaAllah.

Subhaana rabbika rabbil izzati `amma yasifoon wa salaamun `alal mursaleen wal hamdulillahi rabbil `aalameen.
