Number 81 – The Door of Mercy

Ismullah: al Muntaqim (the Avenger) and

Sayyidina Dhul Fadl (The Possessor of Grace)(saws)


Realities of Ramadan (9th Lunar Month) & Number 81 (9X9 = 81)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

In the holy month of Ramadan, the first ten days of Ramadan are Rahmah and Mercy. Alhamdulillah from the teaching of Awliyaullah that Allah’s greatest Mercy is Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). So you put one and one together and understand that Allah (Azza wa Jal) grants the souls an audience, and proximity with Sayydina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). And through the siyam (Fasting) of Ramadan to achieve these great lights and great blessings.

Focus on the Big Picture, Don’t worry about small details

Always a quick reminder that in these first ten days of Rahmah, while people are fixated about the time of imsak (when to start their fast), and how straight your back should be (during prayers), and how long the taraweeh (nightly prayer) should be, is all nice but it is a big distraction from your reality. That alhamdulillah give or take a half hour before salatul Fajr (morning prayer), and you should be okay (for imsak). When you worry too much about points that you believe to be significant but you miss the greater picture and that becomes the difficulty upon the servant.

Alhamdulillah from Ahlul Haqayiq, the People of Realities, they teach us to do your best, Kulun `amalu binniyat [Every action is judged by its intention] and Allah (Azza wa Jal) is Gafroon Raheem (The All forgiving, The Most Merciful). The tremendous reality of Ramadan is not if you are two minutes off, or two degrees short, and if your back is not at a complete forty-five degree angle. That is not it, but it is whether in the state of fasting you have compassion and mercy within your heart? In a state of fasting, are you backbiting and gossiping and breaking every rule of Allah (Azza wa Jal) and entering into bad actions, bad energies? Well, you threw the Ramadan away, so why worry if the imsak timing is not correct?

Means Shaytan has us worried about things which you can’t say ‘are not important’ but are not the goal, and the things that are truly important, he makes us to be forgetful. That is the difficulty. But alhamdulillah by keeping the company of the rightly guided they are not forgetful; their heart is open, their eyes are open and they are being guided, they don’t miss the prize.

Prize of Ramadan is to have good Character

The prize of Ramadan is that Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants to grant you from these Happy Ramadan mubarakrealities, from good character, by keeping the way of good character, not backbiting, not being angry, not cheating, not stealing, but having good characteristics. Then Allah (Azza wa Jal) can complete His ni’mat (favours) upon that servant. That is the dress, that is the blessing, and with those good characters the soul finds it proximity and nearness with Sayyidina Muhammad, not that you are off by five minutes before you start your fasting. These are things you understood, get over them, it’s finished.

The main reality is that Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants good character. Means if you are in a state of fasting and you don’t make your prayers on time, and you don’t have good character, and you are angry, you are yelling, shouting, stealing, cheating and interacting in an incorrect fashion with people who believe or disbelieve, it makes no difference to Allah (Azza wa Jal)’s they are all His servants. What’s then the purpose of fasting? Everything becomes negated and the fast becomes something that didn’t achieve what Allah (Azza wa Jal) meant for it to achieve!

Reality of the 9th Month (Ramadan) and Number 81

From the knowledge of Awliyaullah, and their realities, and teachings, is that every month is a hijab and this ship is moving in the oceans of marifa’ah (Gnosticism) from their understanding where they move through Baab at Tawbah (door of repentance). And there is a Baab at-Tawbah in Madinah Hands - both 18 and 81 , half circleMunawwarah to enter into the presence of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Through Baab at-Tawbah and through the realities of nine, and the sultanat of the number nine, they are moving. In the ninth month they are entering into a tremendous Ocean of Power. And 9 x 9 opens the realities of 81; your left hand is stamped with 81, it is your ‘upside down triangle’ with a line beside it, and that is 81. The right hand is 18 which is perfect symmetry of your being.

9X9 = 18

Right Hand ١٨  = 18

Left Hand ٨١ = 81

81st name of Prophet Muhammad (saws) is Dhul Fadl, It’s the Key

Your left hand is there to remind you that the 81st Name of Allah (Azza wa Jal) is al Muntaqim, “the One who Avenges”. The 81st name of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that is dressing; means every name of Allah (Azza wa Jal) has to have a dress from Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It Madina - nabi ur Rahma 12is the key, al miftah ar Rahmah (the opener of mercy). It is the key of all Mercy, that Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)’s name opens the Siffatullah, and Ismullah (Azza wa Jal).

3:74 – ” Yakhtassu birahmatihi, man yasha o, wallahu dhul fadlil ‘Azheem.  (Surah al ‘Imran)

He selects for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.” (Holy Quran 3:74)

Means for that Name, al-Muntaqim to opens, it opens through the name of Dhul Fadl, “the source of every grace”. Dhul Fadl the [81st] name of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) means that is the source of all that Grace of Allah (Azza wa Jal).

81st Name of Allah (aj) is Al Muntaqim (The Avenger)

Then with tafakkur and contemplation they begin to teach, that when Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants to grant us this dress and this honour, that al-Muntaqim, because people wonder why such a powerful Name–because it is so greatly needed. Where Awliyaullah are making pleas to Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), making pleas to all Awliya above them that: alastu bi rabbikum, qalu bala.

7:172 – “Wa idh akhadha rabbuka min banee adama min Zhuhorihim dhurriyyatahum wa ashhadahum ‘ala anfusihim alastu biRabbikum qalo bala shahidna an taqolo yawmal qiyamati inna kunna ‘an hadha ghafileen.” (Surat Al A’raf )  

“And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants and made them testify concerning themselves, [saying to them], “Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we do testify!” [This] – lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, “Indeed, we were of this unaware.” (Holy Quran, The Heights)

Shaitan is Destroying our Reality and Stations

Yaa Rabbi (O my lord), what we accepted and entered into this dominion, You put us against a fierce opponent, and Shaitan (Satan) is destroying everything that we thought we were going to achieve in this dunya.  He [Satan] has the benefit of living an eternal life, he knows all the tricks. We come in for a short period of time and by the time you learn the tricks, your game is already over, he already defeated and defecated upon everything. Means he is destroying our reality, destroying all the maqaams and stations that Allah (Azza wa Jal) had intended for the servant.

The 9th Hijab, Ramadan is the Hijab of Risalah (Prophecy)

So by Ramadan and the realities of Ramadan is that you are entering into the 9 and the Oceans of Power. That Zikr that Allah (Azza wa Jal) is making upon the 12 hijabs (for each month) are 12 hijabs and lights that Allah (Azza wa Jal) is eternally making a Zikr upon the reality of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), means there is no time. So it means Allah (Azza wa Jal) is infinitely and continuously making these Zikrs. On this month it is the hijab of prophecy, its risalat, the Zikr is subhaana man taqarab bilshams Arifeen - Sun of Knowers qudrati wal baqa.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَقَرَّبِّ الْقُدْرَةِ وَالْبَقَا
Subhana man taqarrab bil qudrati wal baqa.

(Glory to Him who draws nigh to His Omnipotence and Immortality).

It is on our diagram of Shams ul Arifeen, “Glory be to the One who is omnipotent, Who is present everywhere.”

That Power that is present everywhere, that never sleeps, never has slumber, never perishes, [Ayatul Kursi (The verse of the Throne)]

(2:255) – ” Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum. La takhudhuhus sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis samawati wa ma fil ard…” (Surah al Baqarah)

“Allah, there is no God but He, the Ever Living, Self Subsisting. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. …” (Holy Quran 2:255)

That Light, that energy is what Allah (Azza wa Jal) wants to dress upon the soul. Why? because this is from the `Arifeen and the way of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). What Allah (Azza wa Jal) is dressing in this holy month, subhaana man taqarab bil qudrati wal baqa is dressing the soul of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Importance of Fasting in reaching the reality of our Soul

We are asking yaa Rabbi to be from these `Ashiqeen and `Arifeen and those who are like them, that our ship to be on their ship, and their ship is moving and traversing into that reality. So how are we going to reach it? Allah (Azza wa Jal) says: make them fast. This is not a reality that they can get by their salah, or they can buy with their zakat. This is a reality that only through their siyaam I will dress them that what no prophet knows, no angel knows what lights I am going to bestow on them. They are merely passengers in this fulook and these are fulkool mashhoon, are “loaded ships”.

وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّ‌يَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ ٤١
36:41Wa ayatul lahum anna hamalna dhurriyyatahum fil fulkil mashhooni.” (Surat Yaseen)

“And a sign for them is that we have carried their atoms/forefathers in the loaded ship.” (Holy Quran, Ya Sin 36:41).

Each soul if we understood from the Malakoot in the World of Light, that their souls are huge ‘ships of light’. And anyone who comes into contact with them wanting it, or not wanting it, it doesn’t matter, their soul will grab the atoms of other people, of other lights, grab them and make them to be a passenger upon their soul. And as their ships are traversing into the oceans of Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam), every Zikr, every `ibadah, every worshipness that they are doing, will dress all of those passengers with their dhuriya (their progeny).

Just one of their atoms will be on that ship, upon that soul of that servant traversing into those Oceans of Light, and that is why when they are coming into that ocean that hijab begins to open; the hijab ar-Rahmah, hijab al-maghfirah, wa itqun minan naar. [Veil of Mercy, Veil of Forgiveness, and Refuge from fire]

81st Name of Allah (aj) is Al Muntaqim (The Avenger)

They are asking, “Yaa Rabbi from Your Siffat al-Muntaqim, avenge us, yaa Rabbi avenge what Shaytan has put upon us, and destroyed all these maqaams and these lights and realities that You had intended for us.” Only that siffat (attribute) can come like a hammer and destroy everything that Shaytan is doing.

Everything he made, he put like a buddha upon the soul, put a horrible figure upon this beatific soul, and put every nastiness and dirtiness upon it, thinking that he got away with it. Allah (Azza wa Jal) says: no, no, you wait until Ramadan and you see I am going to smash it and obliterate it as if nothing is there.

When Siffat al-Muntaqim comes, it smashes and obliterates all that Allah (Azza wa Jal) is not happy with. That is why in the month of Ramadan you see so much difficulty on Earth. Eh, because Allah (Azza wa Jal) loves all His Creation. If you are fasting you should be very blessed because the state of fast protects you and obliterates all of the incorrectness. If not in the state of fasting, you should find this month to be tremendously difficult, with much oppression and much difficulty.

Allah (Azza wa Jal) begins the shattering process all over the Earth, with all its flooding, and its zilzilah (earthquakes) and all its destruction, why? Siffat al-Muntaqim is moving upon Earth; if you are in a state of fast you should receive it with bliss because the door of that fasting is coming from Dhul Fadl (the source of Grace). Means Sayyidina Dhul Fadl is coming and teaching with every emanation: qul ya naru qunee bardan wa salaamun `ala ibrahim wa ahle muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

21:69 – “Qulna ya Naaru, kuni Bardan wa Salaman ‘ala Ibrahim.” (Surat al Anbiya)                
“We said, “O fire, be cool and Peaceful upon Abraham.” (Holy Quran, The Prophets 21:69)

It means that reality opened for Sayyidina Ibrahim (alayhi ‘s-salaam) in Holy Qur’an and is an inheritance of Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

That whatever Allah (Azza wa Jal) destroys of incorrectness, Prophet (sallallahu alayhi Madina - Green dome Light, birds, dove salawatwa sallam) dresses back with beatific oceans and beatific rahma (mercy). That: yaa Rabbi You took away all its ugliness, let me dress it from my lights, let me intercede upon that soul with my lights. What You dressed upon me, I dress it upon them and make them to be beatific pearls in Your Divinely Ocean and present them to You. On Eid ul Fitr Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is presenting these souls pure and purified into the Divinely presence.

We pray that Allah (Azza wa Jal) opens for us these realities and these understandings. These are not small months; these are tremendous realities that take away oppression from us, take away difficulties from us and that Allah (Azza wa Jal) dresses us with Divinely Grace and that Allah (Azza wa Jal) bless us with the proximity of Sayyidina Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), Ahlul Bayt un Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) (Family of Prophet Muhammad (saws)), the Sahaabah-e-kiraam (companions of Prophet Muhammad (saws) and Awliyaullah from samaa wa fil ardh (Saints of the heavens and earth).

Subhaana rabbika rabbil izzati `amma yasifoon wa salaamun `alal mursaleen wal hamdulillahi rabbil `aalameen.
