Allah (AJ) Eternally Celebrates Mawlid un Nabi Mustafa ﷺ

From the Realities of Mawlana (Q) as taught by Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمْ 

A’uzu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Allah (AJ) Has No Time

That they know that secret, and that secret enough for us to bless our lives, to bring a comfort, an ease upon our lives; sicknesses and difficulties to be taken away in our lives and unimaginable darajats (stations) of paradise. That if we think with what they want us to understand of timeless realities. Allah (AJ) has no time. That what Allah (AJ) gave as a sign in this dunya (material world), we have to go back and research it and put like bullet points of what isharat (sign) Allah (AJ) gave to this dunya on the arrival of Prophet ﷺ.

Always the rule for understanding the importance of these celebrations and these nights and the realities of these lights, Allah (AJ) has no time. It wasn’t an event in which Allah (AJ) only did it at the birth of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ or the arrival of Nurmuhammadi onto dunya. What signs came? What holy people visited the holy mother of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ for that birth and for that arrival? What Allah (AJ) sent isharat onto this dunya to all of the mamlakat (kingdom), all of the emperors, all of the lands. They saw so many signs, so many lights, so many falsehoods, so many incorrect things were put down. They saw lights. They saw signs. They saw all of these realities and just a small reminder for ourselves that Allah (AJ) has no time.

Allah (AJ) Releases Tremendous Barakah Every Rabi’ul Awwal

That every time Rabi’ul Awwal opens, Allah (AJ) is releasing a barakah (blessing) upon this hijab (veil). That there are the twelve hijabs of our creation that govern our lights and these are the hijabs in which Allah’s (AJ) nazar (gaze), Divinely nazar, on the soul of Prophet ﷺ. That reflection comes to us on these twelve months. When this hijab comes our way of Rabi’ul Awwal, they remind us what Allah (AJ) sent? We go back and take all the bullet proofs and Wikipedia, all the articles – what were all the signs that Allah (AJ) sent on the arrival of the holy birth of Prophet ﷺ? They remind us those signs are every Rabi’ul Awwal. That Allah (AJ) extinguish every kufr within the people who are sitting and observing those lights. The people who were waiting for those signs and waiting for those realities, they witnessed them. They witness the devils running. They witness the false lights being extinguished. They witness the false emperors falling.

Mawlana Shaykh (q) reminding: what we have within ourselves and what we have around us? That when we sit and observe these lights, it means we’re asking to be dressed by these veils and by these hijabs and by these blessings in which Allah (AJ) has no time. Ya Rabbi, in Your timeless reality that You are always sending these lights and these blessings and that Sayyidina Muhammad’s ﷺ light is always tanzeela (emanation from above), is always coming. Because every event for Allah (AJ) must be an eternal event. The lights of Prophet ﷺ, as it came to the womb of his holy mother, it must always be tanzeela, always descending or ascending. There is no direction in the heavens, but that light must always be coming to Earth. With that light, it extinguishes falsehood. With that light, it takes away every evilness and wickedness. With that light brought tremendous ni’mat and blessings. It illuminated the heavens and the Earth.

Purify Your Heart With the Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

 What it gave to Sitna Halima (as) who wanted to be the wet-nurse and to take that child? What it gave of blessings? What it gave of barakah? What it gave of unimaginable realities? Mawlana Shaykh (q) reminding that is for everyone who sits on that holy night, on these holy nights, in remembrance. Ya Rabbi, what You sent, You’re always sending. Increase us in the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Increase us in the affection and the way of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ so that we can become a recipient of that love, that He purified the being. When we begin to understand and contemplate and meditate on that love, it’s unimaginable. When awliya (saints) come into us and come into our lives and teach us how much Allah (AJ) loves this light and this is the light and the source of all realities opening upon dunya, that it is all based on love.

How much Allah (AJ) loves that light and we begin to contemplate how much Allah (AJ) adorned the entire samawati wal ard (heavens and Earth) for the arrival of these lights? How much Allah (AJ) honoured and gave tashreef and nobility for the movement of the light on Isra wal Mi’raj (Night Journey and Ascension) to the heavens? How much He sent ithiram (respect)? How much He sent love? How much He sent buraq (noble mystical horse), adorned and fashioned, all of heavens to be filled with these lights? They begin to think if we begin to contemplate that level of love, what Allah (AJ) going to put that light in? It means that our hearts; by way of love of Prophet ﷺ, will become purified. Because how can Allah (AJ) put something so pure and so beloved and so beautiful into something dirty? That’s why that light cleans us. That why that light blesses us. When somebody gives you a beautiful set of flowers and all you have is a dirty vase, you feel ashamed to put that flower into that vase because you know that dirtiness going to ruin these flowers.

Malaika Constantly Clean Us When We Carry Love of Prophet ﷺ in Our Hearts

What do you think from Allah (AJ)? That all My love for Nurul Muhammad ﷺ, all My…My love, My respect for Prophet ﷺ. Not even ours – Allah’s (AJ) respect and ithiram. That I love that light. I call that light to My Divinely Presence. All blessing and barakah, I’m dressing upon that light. When you begin to remember that light, it means you bringing that light into the heart. Allah (AJ), by means of that light, immediately tells malaika (angels), ‘Begin to clean that heart. Begin to clean that being. Begin to clean everything within them because they are now the receptacle. They are the vehicle in which holding My most beloved treasure. The love of all My prophets, all of them, no distinction because they’re in the darajahs (stations) of Nurul Muhammadi ﷺ.’ What gave the risalat (prophecy) is the degree of the Muhammadan light within them and that’s why Allah (AJ), “Innad deena ‘indAllahil Islam.”

﴾ إِنَّ الدِّيْنَ عِنْدَ اللهِ الإِسْلاَمُ…﴿١٩

3:19 – “Innad deena ‘indAllahil Islam.” (Surat Ali-Imran) 

“The religion with God is Islam [Submission]…” (Family of Imran, 3:19) 

Allah (AJ) Honours Us With Prophet’s ﷺ Light

It’s only one message that Allah (AJ) delivered through one light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. The Nubuwwah (prophecy) means that if they were given that light and that honour, they either delivered a message from one message or they came to confirm a message already established upon Earth. But that tashrif (honour) and that light, when it begins to come upon us and begin to enter into the heart, begin to dress around the soul by means of that light, Allah (AJ) purifies everything, tells the malaika (angels) that light now entering into that abd (servant), begin to purify them. Make their heart like gold because I’m sending the treasures of the heavens and Earth upon them. I’m sending the light and love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ within them. They are Ahlul Muhabbat and that Ahlul Muhabbat, what make them to be honoured? Not from themselves.

So, when people say, ‘Oh, look at these people. They make themselves to be honoured.’ No! Allah (AJ) give them an honour because the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ occupying their being. The light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is all around them, dressing them. That’s why Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, ‘Remember me once, Allah (AJ) sends my soul to make ten remembrances upon you, ten salawats upon you.’

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -: ” مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ، وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ، وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ ” 

Qala Rasulullah (saws): “Man Salla `alaiya Salatan wahidatan, Sallallahu `alayhi `ashra Salawatin, wa Huttat `anhu `ashru khaTeatin, wa ruf`at lahu `ashru  darajatin.” 

Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “Whoever sends blessings [Praises] upon me, God will shower His blessings upon him ten times, and will erase ten of his sins, and elevate [raise] his [spiritual] station ten times.” [Hadith recorded by Nasa’i] 

We Are a Timed Creation, Allah (AJ) is Timeless

Ten from Allah (AJ) that has no time; no beginning and no end. Anything coming from Allah (AJ) has no time. Any tanzeela (emanation from above), any rahmah (mercy), any barakah (blessing) that coming from Allah (AJ) is timeless. They know that in science now. We are a timed creation and time is a part of creation. From heavens is not bound by creation; it’s from a timeless reality and they have even timelessness beyond the understanding of timeless.

But for us to understand these realities, Allah (AJ) begins the tanzeela and that dress by means of that light. Everything within our being will be purified. It will be prepared as if the heavens were prepared; everything to be adorned upon it, everything to be light upon it. That’s why they say the pious people are mahfuz. Mahfuz means they are guarded. Whatever they do wrong, the malaika (angels) come and begin to clean it because of the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

‘Amal, Without Sincere Love, is Dead

With the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, every ‘amal reaches its sweetness because you can be hafiz (one who memorized) of Qur’an and have no love for Prophet ﷺ. You can become memorize 200,000 hadith and have no love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You can pray and have no love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. You can fast and have no love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. We call that ‘amal (good deed) is a dead ‘amal.

It has no value and that’s why there’s hadith for that: that the one who prayed thought he came with lots of prayers to Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Presence and Allah (AJ) took him on his face and threw him into jahannam (hellfire) because the character was bad, the actions were bad in the salah (prayer). Allah (AJ) is not in need of the salah. Allah (AJ) not in need of our fasting. Allah (AJ) is not in need of our shahadah (testimony of faith). We are in need of it. But in need of it, its fruit only opens with the love of Prophet ﷺ.

Our Love of Prophet ﷺ Makes Our ‘Amal Alive and Real

With the love of Prophet ﷺ, the malaika (angels) begin to clean the heart, clean the being. That you become the receptacle and an honoured vehicle in which to carry that light. You’ll be fragranced from that light, to be blessed with that light, that every ‘amal (good deed) will bring out its beauty. Your salah (prayer) will be something beautiful for malaika because its filled with the love and ishq of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and Ashab an Nabi ﷺ (holy companions of Prophet ﷺ) and Ahlul Baytin Nabi ﷺ (Holy Family of the Prophet ﷺ) because if You love Prophet ﷺ then you love who he loves. Your fasting will be fragranced with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

It means every ‘amal will reach its perfection. Every ‘amal will reach the rida and satisfaction of Allah (AJ) where Allah (AJ) will be satisfied with it. The salah, Allah (AJ) will accept it with the love of Prophet ﷺ. The shahadah (testimony of faith) will be a real shahadah, that witnessing whom you love and Allah (AJ) will be pleased with it. The siyyam (fasting) will be satisfied. Allah (AJ) will be pleased with that siyyam. It means everything we’re doing is based on the love and the secret of love is the way of Prophet ﷺ and that was the secret of iman (faith).

The Holy Companions (as) Acted Purely Out of Love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ

How to believe in a book that you haven’t seen? What were the companions believing in? They hadn’t seen Holy Qur’an. There was no manifestation of Holy Qur’an. But their love for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, they believed him. Why nobody saw what’s being revealed by Allah (AJ)? But the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, they said, “Sam’ina wa ata’na.” (We hear and we obey.) You say it. We love you. We believing it. You tell us to struggle. We are struggling in that way because we love you. Everything the companions did was the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ first. 

With the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ came the love of Allah (AJ). How can you love Allah (AJ) when you don’t know Allah (AJ)? They didn’t see Allah (AJ). They didn’t know anything from the holy book. They never even heard the revelation coming. That was the secret and that’s why Prophet ﷺ was teaching that, ‘Your faith won’t be complete until you love me more than you love yourself.’ 

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْن مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: ” لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ‏”‏‏.‏
[صَحِيِحْ مُسْلِمْ، حديث ٤٤، واَلْبُخَارِي، كِتَابُ الْإيْمَانْ، حديث ١٥] 

‘An Anas ibn Malik (ra) qala, qala Rasulullahi ﷺ “La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan nasi ajma’yeen.” [Sahih Muslim, Hadith 44, wa Al Bukhari, Kitabul Iman, Hadith 15] 

Narrated by Anas son of Malik (ra) that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind.” [Authentic by Muslim, Hadith 44 & by Al Bukhari, Book of Faith, Hadith 15] 

Allah (AJ) is Closer to Us Than Our Jugular Vein (Holy Qur’an, 50:16)

That was the life of the companions. They did everything for the love of Prophet ﷺ. Because of that love, they grew close to Allah (AJ) and nearness and a dearness when Allah (AJ) describing, ‘How close am I when you are good and you’re filled with good manners and you’re doing everything I’m telling you? I am closer to you than your jugular vein. But with that closeness, if you have bad character, I could be billions of miles away for you’ because it no… of any benefit.

﴾١٦‎﴿ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ

50:16 – “Wa laqad khalaqnal insaana wa na’lamu maa tuwaswisu bihee nafsuhoo, wa Nahnu aqrabu ilaihi min hablil wareed.” (Surat Qaf) 

“And We indeed Created mankind and We Know what his self/ego whispers to him; and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.” (The Letter Qaf, 50:16) 

If the character is bad as if you are billions of miles away from Allah (AJ), although He may be right here (Shaykh points to jugular vein). That jugular vein has to do with the reality of the blood and the heart. He’s giving the verse of the jugular, teaching us that, ‘I am closer to you than your heart if the heart is filled with my Habib (Beloved). If it is filled with the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, the character, Khuluq ul Azeem that I gave from an amazing character to your reality.’

﴾وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿٤

68:4 – “Wa innaka la’ala khuluqin ‘azheem.” (Surat Al-Qalam) 

“Truly, You (O Muhammad!) are of a magnificent character.” (The Pen, 68:4) 

Seek Ways to Raise the Name of Prophet ﷺ Higher for Ourselves

If I put all of that – your character then is something to be loved by the Divinely presence and Allah (AJ) grant a sincerity. Grant us to be mahfuz. InshaAllah, to be guarded and to be protected and to make everything that we do to be blessed. That is the secret of why they want us to live a life in which we support Mawlid un-Nabi ﷺ. Live a life greater than ourselves, only running after ourselves. That live a life in which we think: how are we going to raise the name of Prophet ﷺ higher and higher for ourselves? He doesn’t need it alayhi salaatu salaam, but for ourselves, for our family and for our communities.

So, it means Allah (AJ) has given us a great gift to be able to have Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ three times a week and to support that. Allah (AJ) has given us a great gift on this Rabi’ul Awwal to have a big Milad un Nabi ﷺ and to support that. So, it means they open for us these realities of love and showing our love to make that love to be real. We pray that Allah (AJ) accept that, bless that and to dress us from the realities of Rabi’ul Awwal. InshaAllah, this year and Mawlid un Nabi ﷺ coming up next Friday, inshaAllah, and that we all struggle and strive with whatever ability and whatever skills, whatever we have that we put for the way of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, inshaAllah.
