I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
1. Station of Qalb (Heart) – Hearing: Knowledge
Archangel Jibreel (Gabriel) (as)
[For all the senses, there is also an inner reality.] Maybe we are using only the ears from the outside but it doesn’t mean that we are hearing from the soul.
So from hearing and seeing, that the seeing has to do with the sir [2nd sation]. Now, we are connecting that so we said before Sayyidina Jibreel (Gabriel) (as) and the light of Sayyidina Jibreel (as) at the qalb.
Knowledge is directly connected to Hearing
Then that qalb also is the station of knowledge. That every knowledge has to enter form where – the hearing. Knowledge is directly connected to hearing: how well you hear, not physical hearing only, it is hearing and obeying.
2:285 – “…Sam’ina wa ata’na, …” (Surat al Baqarah)
“…We hear, and we obey:…” (Holy Quran, 2:285)
Hearing and obeying means it’s really absorbing: you act upon what you hear, not just merely hear it through the faculty of the ear. Both hearing has to be there; the physical is the outside and the inner ka’bah, the inner reality of the circle has to be hearing.
2. Station of Sir (Secret) – Seeing: Spiritual Vision
Archangel Mikhail (Michael) (as) – Close your Eyes to Material Life
Then Sayyidina Mika’il (Michael) (as), that light, that reality begins to teach about spirituality opening. This is also the station of seeing, the sense of seeing.
So the only way to begin to see is if you are dying towards the dunya life, to the material life. If you are loving the material life, then there is no reason to feel that you are dying towards it to go towards the spiritual reality. Means that the desires have to be brought down. That’s why Sayyidina Mika’il (as) is going to come and begin to show how to bring that desire down.
That is why Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was teaching his Companions, ‘The fights that we were going through, in my physical presence was one thing; but now what is going to be opening is the much greater fight which is the fight against the self’.
عن جابر قال قدم على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قوم غزاة فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم قدمتم خير مقدم من جهاد الأصغر إلى جهاد الأكبر قيل وما قال مجاهدة العبد هواه وهذا فيه ضعف
“An Jabir qala qadam ‘ala Rasulullah (saws) qawm ghazata faqala Sallallahu Alayhi was Salaam: ” Qadamtum khaira muqadem min jihadil Asghar ila Jihadil Akbar.” Qeela “wa ma?” Qala “Mujahidatal ‘Abd hawahu wa hadha fi D’af.”
Jabir (as) narrated: ‘Some warriors came to the Holy Prophet. He (Muhammad (s) said to them: “welcome back, you came from minor Jihad to the greater one.”
It was asked, ‘what is that Oh Prophet of Allah?” He (pbuh) replied: “One’s fight against his mundane wills/desires.” (Bahaqi Kitab ul Zuhd-al-Kabir)
When you begin to study, then each of them begins to teach us, and all of them are interconnected. Sayyidina Mika’il (as) is teaching that, ‘For that light, for that sustenance, for that battle to come and I begin to send that light and that support into your soul.
At the same time, this is the station of seeing. As you begin to lose the desire, more of the seen begins to open.
Then it passes through the centre-most [5th sation – Akhfa (most hidden)], is the most powerful. The centre-most is the station of death.
4 Seasons and Colours of the Levels of the Heart
Like the seasons: you have summer [1st Station – Qalb – Yellow] and you have fall [2nd Station – Sir], because all of it is again related. The fall (Station of Sir – red) has to pass through death. So we see this reality all around us: summer time everything is wonderful, everything is great, everything is blooming. Why Allah wanted us to have seasons? Because as soon as the fall comes, everything turns red and all the trees’ leaves becomes red. Means they entering now a station of death.
The Colours of the Levels of the Heart are Intermixing
These are all intermixing colours; it’s not just one colour. The yellow has infinite dimensions of colour when it begins to touch the red, when it begins to touch the black, it is touching the white. Inside it’s also touching the green. Means the phases of these colours are the lights of the soul, begin to teach that: fall passes death and becomes winter. Then as soon as winter is finished, it enters spring and everything comes back to life.
Now also all of that interconnected with the relationship of the prophets. Spring and April showers, spring and resurrection. Allah wants us to see. Allah (aj) says that, ‘What I am asking from you is not so difficult; My trees do it, flowers do it, all of nature does it. They die, become frozen in time for winter, merely a rain begins to come in April, a miraculous rain, not a regular rain.
Why Allah (aj) wants us to see is, that it’s like Judgement day. When you believe ‘How am I going to be raised?’ Allah says, ‘Every April it rains. Every April, everything around you dead and this shower comes and begins to revive. As it’s reviving, then they begin to teach that: from that spring, you are again entering now a phase of that reality.
Prophets’ eternal Message and the Levels of the Heart
Then they teach that every Prophet has an eternal message. They have a message of their physical presence for their physical community but because God has no time. Allah has no time, what does He care about the physical. Allah is eternal in a timeless reality, timeless dimension. Allah (aj) is even beyond that; astaghfirullah, you can’t even say Allah is timeless.
But what Allah wants from us of the souls is timeless, There is time, timeless, then timelessness. Means it’s even fana’ in the fana’; it’s annihilated even in its annihilation.
1. Station of Qalb – Adam (as) teaches the Knowledge of the Soul
Sayyidina Adam (as) comes and teaches: isma kullaha (all the names). He says; ‘I represent the knowledge that the Divine has bestowed upon humanity’.
وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا…٣١
2:31 – Wa ‘allama Adamal Asma a kullaha,… ” (Surat al Baqara)
“And He taught Adam the names of all things …” (Holy Quran, The Cow, 2:31)
وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ…
17:70 – “Wa laqad karramna bani adama…” (Surat al Isra)
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam…” (The Night Journey 17:70)
We are not monkeys evolving into something. Allah ‘Azza wa Jal says, ‘You are My paradise creation, My khalifa, my viceroy. My angels bow down to the knowledge that you have’.
2:34 – ” Wa idh qulna lilmalayikati osjudo li Adama fasajado ,…” (Surah al Baqarah)
“And [mention] when We said to the angels, “Bow Down to Adam”; so they prostrated, …” (Holy Quran)
Sayyidina Adam (as) begins to teach because the Adamic dress has to dress us; each prophet wants to dress us from their perfection. As soon as you focus on that, Sayyidina Adam (as)‘s light begins to come and dress from that light, that we have been taught knowledge. Our soul is the master CD that God has taught everything: “‘Alam al-Qur’an, khalaq al-insaan,”-
الرَّحْمَـٰنُ ﴿١﴾ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ﴿٢﴾ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ ﴿٣
55:1-3 – “Ar Rahmaan. ‘Allamal Qur’an. Khalaqal Insaan.” (Surat Ar Rahman)
“The Most Merciful. (1) It is He Who has taught the Qur’an. (2) He has created Man. (3)” (Holy Quran, The Beneficent 55:1-3)
Only the Perfected light can read the Divinely Knowledge
All knowledges have been bestowed upon the soul. Why is it that you cannot read it, you cannot bring it out? Because we have to go back to light. When the light is perfected, the device is perfected, it begins to be able to read. The message is already burned upon the soul. All the information is burned upon the soul.
So all technology today is based on light. Those technologies are teaching us about our soul. This (soul) is the CD, not the fake one that Toshiba made. The real CD is the one that Allah (AJ) made on the souls: ‘I put all its knowledges onto that soul’.
2. Station of Sir – Nuh (Noah) (as) teaches to Build the Soul
Then from Sayyidina Adam, goes to Sayyidina Nuh, Noah (as), peace and blessings be upon him, directly connected to Sayyidina Mika’il and rain and floods. It is directly connected to the struggle of the soul, that if you want to open up your soul, you have to struggle.
So then Sayyidina Nuh (as) comes and says, ‘You have to struggle. Your ship that you have to build is the soul; this is the ark, this is the ship of safety that will open the soul towards his destination. So Sayyidina Nuh (as) comes and begins to teach that: you have to open this reality, you have to struggle in God’s way. That will perfect your soul.
3. Station of Sir Sir – Ibrahim (as) & Musa (Moses) (as) – Reality of Fire
They begin to teach: as soon as you pass this station of death [5th Station – Akhfa], who is waiting for us in [3rd Station – Sir Sir] in this world and the reality of white, and the reality of now opening the soul is Sayyidina Ibrahim and Nabi Musa (as).
Ibrahim (as) teaches to control the Fire of Anger
Sayyidina Ibrahim and the importance of fire and struggling: “Qul ya nahru,” It means that when I am struggling in Allah’s way, all of the world will throw fire onto you. Everything will try to stop you from reaching your destination. You can’t let that fire come and make you to burn and become angry at people. You have to be able to contain that fire. When you begin to contain that fire, “Qul ya nahru kulli bardan wa salaaman ‘ala Ibrahim.”
21:69 – “Qulna ya Naaru, kuni Bardan wa Salaman ‘ala Ibrahim.” (Surat al Anbiya)
“We said, “O fire, be cool and Peaceful upon Abraham.” (Holy Quran, The Prophets 21:69)
That they tried to throw Sayyidina Ibrahim into the fire of Nimrod. They said, ‘Throw!’ and he went into the fire and it was cool and peaceful. Means that, that control to open up the reality of the soul: this is now in the perfection of the soul.
3. Station of Sir Sir – Touch: from the soul
The sense that is opening that reality in [3rd Station of Sir Sir]: they have the sense of touch. Means that this soul is now very latif, very subtle. Hearing [1st Station of Qalb], to seeing [2nd Station of Sir], and now touching. Touching from the level of the soul.
Sayyidina Ibrahim saying that if you can control your senses, control your anger, control all that fire. And begin to bring it into your heart, begin to forgive, begin to use your practices of washing and wudu.
That Sayyidina Nuh (as) is teaching the secrets of wudu, that Allah washed this earth with the wudu to take away bad people. You use water all the time to take away bad desires and bad energies, the flood of ignorance to be washed away.
Musa (as) teaches to turn the fire into Divinely Love
Sayyidina Ibrahim begins to show that if that light and that fire begins to burn, Nabi Musa (as) is right next to him and begins to take us. Say, ‘Yeah, that’s the fire in which I saw Allah. I saw Allah as a burning bush’.
Why Allah’s not a bush? But you see God in the condition that you are in. We said before, if you are angry, you see God as angry; if you are vengeful, you see God as vengeful; if you are lustful, you think that God is lustful.
Means every condition we are in, we see God in that condition. They perfect us: no, no, you must see and be in the condition of yearning, a divine love in which you are burning to be close to the Divine Presence, that you are seeking a warmth and guidance from the Divine Presence.
And Allah (AJ) begin to appear as the Source of the One, as the Source of guidance that, ‘Come into My Love, come into My yearning, and I begin to dress you from these realities’. These are an eternal dress that the prophets are teaching.
4. Station of Khafa (Hidden) – Isa (Jesus) (as) – Resurrection
Then they take us to the resurrection [4th Station – Khafa], that if you are truly dying and the condition of your heart is on fire with that divine love, then they take us to Sayyidina Isa (as). Means that one foot off the earth because now, the station of death is there. If the station of death is there, Sayyidina Isa is the resurrected one. He comes and begins to teach that: now, lift off because I have to be lifted from the ground.
That is why each of the prophets, their specialty is that although this world wants to come against you and try to crucify you, they have no permission. That’s why it is unacceptable to say he [Jesus (as)] was crucified. Otherwise how you could have that much blessing and shaitan was able to crucify him. Allah (AJ) said, ‘No. I made his enemy to look like him: Judas’. And immediately Judas had the face of Sayyidina Isa (as) and they grabbed him. And Allah (AJ) raised Isa (as). Why- because this is an important station.
You are talking about the station of reviving, the station of resurrecting. And every season there is a resurrection. Allah (AJ) says, ‘You will be resurrected. If your body is entering that state of death and you have that yearning within your heart, We merely begin to teach your soul how to go back into its origin and lift it to its origin’.
That’s why when they changed the face of Judas to Sayyidina Isa (as), the Companions didn’t recognize him. So when they came and Sayyidina Isa said, ‘You are going to deny me three times.‘ Not that they denied Sayyidina Isa (as)- how could 11 Companions not know who their master is? But what they wanted us to think is when they brought Judas and they said, ‘Do you know who he is?’ They said, ‘No we don’t know who he is,’ because he is not their master. It was Judas that they are looking at, so of course they are going to deny him. They didn’t deny Sayyidina Isa (as).
This [station] is from Mawlana Shaykh’s secrets: that this station is a very important station, to be resurrected, resurrected into the presence of the heavenly kingdom, whose authority is Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
5. Station of Akhfa (Most Hidden) – Sayyidina Muhammad (saws)- Sacrifice & be of Service
And Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam begin to teach us the path of annihilation: annihilate yourself, annihilate yourself. We are, and this is “Inna a’tayna kal Kawthar.”
إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ﴿١﴾ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ﴿٢﴾ إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ ﴿٣
108:1-3 – “Inna ‘atayna kal kawthar.(1) Fasali li rabbika wanhar. (2) Inna shani-aka huwal abtar.” (Surat al Kawthar)
“To thee (O Muhammad) we have granted the Fount (of Abundance). (1)
So pray to your Lord and Sacrifice. (2) Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.” (3) (Holy Quran, The Abundance)
These [levels of the heart] are the oceans of Kawthar. “Fa salli li rabbika wanhar,”- pray unto your Lord and take a life of sacrifice. Sacrifice your desires, sacrifice your wants and in the end you are going to sacrifice your body. Everybody leaves and dies from this earth.
21:35 – “Kullu nafsin dhayiqatul Mawti, wa nablokum bish sharri wal khayri fitnatan, wa ilayna turja’oon.” (Surat al Anbiya)
“Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us you must return.” (Holy Quran, the Prophets)
That sacrifice is what Allah (AJ) wants: sacrifice, pray unto your Lord and open the reality of annihilation. Live a life of service; live a life beyond living for ourselves and live a life trying to serve the Divine and serve the Prophetic reality and serve Ulul amrin minkum.
And begin to teach, Prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam begin to teach: at the level of the prophets, they have an eternal message.
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon,wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen.
Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi sirri surat al-Fatiha.
