I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the rejected one
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum
﴾أَطِيعُواللَّه وَأَطِيعُوٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ… ﴿٥٩…
4:59 – “…Atiullaha wa atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum…” (Surat An-Nisa)
“… Obey Allah, Obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you…” (The Women, 4:59)
Salvation for All Nations in the Month of Muharram & on Ashura
And reminder always for myself, ana abdukal ‘ajeez, wa dayeef, wa miskin, wa zhalim, wa jahl, and by the grace of Allah (AJ), that we are still in existence. And alhamdulillah, the Holy Month of Muharram opens, and we step with our right foot into that month, asking that, ya Rabbi, another year of 12 months of a hijrah and pilgrimage to Your Divinely Presence. And with everything that Prophet ﷺ brought into this dunya (material world) has a deep reality for us.
One of the realities of Muharram and Baab at-Tawbah (door of repentance), that they move from the 9th surah, to the 18th surah, to the 27th surah. It’s the gate of tawbah and repentance and maghfirah (forgiveness), that Allah (AJ) saved all nations in the month of Muharram on the day of ‘Ashura. They were granted their najat, their salvations, freedom from difficulties and His Divinely favors completed upon these nations.
Muharram Opens Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ City of Lights and the Reality of Futuwwa
As soon as Prophet’s ﷺ nation beginning to open and Allah (AJ) want to open the City of Lights, the City of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Nurul anwar wa sirratal asrar, the greatness of the reality of Prophet ﷺ is marked by the hijrah. That has so many realities that Allah (AJ) want to open, that after years of struggle within Mecca, and companions struggling, and struggling, and struggling, Allah (AJ) wanted to open the City of Lights for Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. And in our life, it has a deep reality between the reality of Mecca and the stations of struggling, and struggling in the way of Allah (AJ). And with 13 years of struggling and moving through difficulties, Allah (AJ) to open the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, which is the City of all Lights. Nurul anwar wa sirratal asrar, the light of every secret and the secret of every light. Everything has a light. Every creation, every universe, every galaxy, is made from light. Its secret is Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ – immense, immense realities.
As soon as the moment of Muharram comes, this reality of futuwwa. This reality of Islamic chivalry, Islamic knighthood, and the realities in which Prophet ﷺ wanted for the elite of his nation, for all of his nation, but whom Allah (AJ) destined to take a path of realities and good character. This way of futuwwa, this way of chivalrous character is based on the best – the best of character, the best of manners, the best of examples. It’s not based on any lies, not based on any deceit, not based on any conspiracies, and backbiting.
Zulfiqar is the Sword of Islamic Knighthood Granted by Imam ‘Ali (as)
So, it means that anyone who involved in that is not from that reality. Impossible! These are the Knights of Allah (AJ). These are the Knights of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Knights being the most honoured in Divinely Presence of their realities and symbolic by the Zulfiqar. That this Zulfiqar, this sword of Knighthood, that our struggles and all of our struggling of the self, there is a sword that will be granted by Imam ‘Ali (as) to the student. And Imam ‘Ali (as) will appear to the student and grant them their Zulfiqar. And that’s a sword of Al-‘Alim, Al-Qadir (The All Knowing, The All Powerful). That, within that reality, it carries the secrets of Divinely Knowledge and Divinely Power.
That to be granted Divinely Knowledges, Allah (AJ) place upon that servant a Divinely Power. Otherwise, the knowledges would be stolen from shayateen (devils). This means that we’re struggling in a direction. And each year, when we’re struggling, struggling, struggling, Muharram is another opportunity in which to, ‘Ya Rabbi, let me to step with my good character, my best of character. We all will sin, it’s not a matter of not sinning. It’s a matter of having good character. It’s a matter of asking for repentance. Say, ‘Ya Rabbi, that things I can’t control, give me strength.’
There is No Wilayat Without Imam ‘Ali (as)
When Allah (AJ) sees the sincerity of the student, and Knighthood and rijal, are genderless terms. It’s not meaning man or woman, it means that which is mature in Divinely Presence. When Allah (AJ) want to grant a sword to the servant, He’s granting them a tremendous honour. That you have been recognized by Allah (AJ), recognized by Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, and Sultan al Arifeen, Sultan al Awliyaullah is delivering a sword. It means there is no wilayat (sainthood) except by the hand of Imam ‘Ali (as), impossible. And Imam al Rabbani (Q) from Naqshbandiya Silsila and Ghawthani, known throughout the world, put in his futuhaats (openings of the heart), that no doubt that the fountains of sainthood are at the hands of Asadullah al Ghalib, the Victorious Lion of Allah (AJ), Imam ‘Ali (as).
Zulfiqar is the Sword of Light From Sirrat Lam Jalala
And that when that sword comes to the servant, Allah (AJ) granting them a qudra and a power. That it will begin to ignite. That sword that they see within their hand, and these are only for us to understand, that they carry that sword at all time, as a part of their soul. It’s not a physical weapon. It’s a sword of light of the Zulfiqar and the haqqaiqs (realities) of what they carry from sirrat lam jalala. They carry the realities of lam and alif.
So, Allah (AJ) give them an authority, that you hold. What Nabi Musa (as) was searching for? ‘I will not stop, until where these two rivers meet.’
﴾إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِفَتَاهُ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّىٰ أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِيَ حُقُبًا ﴿٦٠
18:60 – “Wa idh qala Mosa lefatahu laa abrahu hatta ablugha majma’a albahrayni aw amdiya huquba.” (Surat Al-Kahf)
“Behold, Moses said to his attendant, I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel.” (The Cave, 18:60)
Where the two rivers meet at the bottom is the handle of their Zulfiqar. And Allah (AJ) found acceptance in their struggle and made them, that you’re from the futuwwa. La Fatah Illa Ali, La Saif Illa Zulfiqar.
لا فَتى اِلاّ عَلِىلا سیف، اِلاّ ذُو الفَقار
اذكروا آل محمدكلِ ليلٍ ونَّهار
La fata illa Ali, La saif, illa Zulfiqar
Ozkuro aala Muhammad, kulle laylen wan nahar
There is no victory except with Imam ‘Ali (as). There is no sword of justice like Zulfiqar, the sword of Imam ‘Ali (as).
Remember and praise upon Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his family all day and night.
Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is the City of Knowledge and Imam ‘Ali (as) is the Gate
It’s a huge reality. It’s not a one-time sword, where Allah (AJ) is describing, Prophet ﷺ describing, ‘I am the City, and ‘Ali Baaba Hu.’
“أَنَا مَدِيْنَةُ الْعِلْمٍ وَ عَلِيٌّ بَابُهَا”
“Ana madinatul ‘ilmin wa ‘Aliyyun baabuha.”
“I am the city of knowledge and ‘Ali (as) is its door/gatekeeper.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Because he holds this sword, this lam alif, this La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ is the reality of Prophet ﷺ. The Zulfiqar was given by Allah (AJ) to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ gave that sword to Imam ‘Ali (as).
The Path to Divine Reality is Not With Your Head, But Through Your Heart
And we went to Jabal Uhud on our Umrah, and there’s a maqam (station) in which Imam ‘Ali (as) built for that ceremony. That, when Prophet ﷺ giving it’s now transferring a tremendous reality, that I’m going to be giving you the door to all uloom (knowledges). And they must pass through your certification. At that time, when they pass and that you deem them certified, you wssshh, and let them to enter in. And in that gate, there’s no head. So, Prophet ﷺ described to his companions, ‘Leave your head outside.’ It means the path to Divine Reality is not something with your head. Oh, this doesn’t make sense, I don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s why, Allah (AJ) in Holy Qur’an told Nabi Musa (as) and Sayyidina Khidr (as) in the adab (manners), ‘Don’t talk. Don’t ask questions.’
﴾الَ فَإِنِ اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِي عَن شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا ﴿٧٠
18:70 – “Qala fa ini ittaba’tanee fala tasalnee ‘an shay-in hatta ohditha laka minhu dhikra.” (Surat Al-Kahf)
“[Khidr] He said, Then if you follow me, do not ask me questions about anything until I myself speak to you concerning it.” (The Cave, 18:70)
Your tongue is too busy trying to move and your heart is not really listening. Just tighten your tongue and let your heart to begin to understand. With a special masjid was built by Imam ‘Ali (as) and Prophet ﷺ conveyed the sword of Zulfiqar.
Knights of Allah (AJ) Excel in Their Character and Are Exemplars of Faith
So, when that student witnesses that reality and the shaykhs of the Zulfiqar, all their ijazah (authorization) and teaching is on that reality. Because their responsibility are to raise the Knights of Allah (AJ), jundum minas Samaa hi Wal Arda.
﴾هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلَّـهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ﴿٤
48:4 – “Huwa alladhee anzalas sakeenata fee quloobi almumineena liyazdadoo Imanan ma’a Imanihim, wa lillahi junodu asSamawati wal ardi, wa kana Allahu ‘Aleeman Hakeema.” (Surat Al-Fath)
“It is He who sent down tranquility into the hearts of the believers, that they would increase faith in their [present level of] faith. And to Allah belong the Forces/soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is All Knowing and Wise.” (The Victory, 48:4)
The Knights of the heaven that are under the command of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ which means of chivalrous character. Knighthood is not of violence, but knighthood are they are the men and the women, the rijal, the mature beings of Allah (AJ). They excel in their character, and they’re exemplars of the faith. So much so that when Imam ‘Ali (as) was in a battle and somebody spit, God forbid, upon him. They were in battle and he spit on the holy presence of Imam ‘Ali (as). Immediately, he put his sword down and said, ‘Better you to kill me.’
And he said, ‘What? When we’re in fierce battle, how I can kill you?’
(Imam ‘Ali (as)) Say, ‘When I was fighting before, I was fighting for the truth and what was correct. You were coming against God and I’m defending that reality. As soon as you spit on me, this became personal. And God forbid I harm you out of my personal resentment. And I have lost everything that God has given to me. Better I become shaheed (martyr) and you kill me.’
And the man cried. What kind of character is this? These are not the people I’m used to. He put his sword down and took his shahadah (testimony of faith).
Islamic Knighthood is About Good Character, Not Violence
It means this is not about violence. They’re talking about character and rijal, that try their best not to cheat people, not to steal, not to lie, not to backbite. All of the deceitful and ruinous characteristics within mankind, Prophet ﷺ wants, ‘Rid them!’ Otherwise, if you don’t take it away, they cannot enter my City of Knowledge. My City of Knowledge is not for crooks. Las Vegas is for that. What happens there, stays there. That’s dunya. Allah (AJ) is not like that – you can do whatever you want and stay there, no! It’s the City of Paradise, the City of all uloom (knowledges). That, that sword has to be granted to this servant.
Every Muharram they’re praying and waiting, ‘Ya Rabbi, that if You accept my tawbah, and if You accept my repentance.’ Why? Because they’re standing at that gate, and why Baab at-Tawbah has no Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. No Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem because when you make zabiha, you don’t say Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem and slaughter something. You say Bismillah in Allah’s (AJ) name, AllahHu Akbar, and the head comes off.
Soul is Dressed with Power and Knowledges
So, it means this spiritual understanding of the head, that this head of mine, its talking, its just all of its confusion its causing, the confusion is here (Shaykh points to head). When this (head) is not in control, this (heart) is completely messed up. As much as this (head) whispering, and all these thinking, all this (head) causing confusion within the heart, and there is no peace.
So, in this Baab at Tawbah, it means the Zulfiqars are out, with the two points out to come and take this process of your thinking away. Use your thinking for business, for work, for dunya and material matters. But approach towards this Divinely Presence through your heart and through your soul. So that, Allah (AJ) want to grant them the knowledges, and ‘Alim, sifat Al-‘Alim (attribute of the All Knowing), begin to dress that servant. And sifat Al-Qadir (attribute of the All Powerful) means the more and more power is going to be dressed upon their soul. Somebody may say, oh where, where is the sword? I don’t see a sword. No, this is all spiritual understanding. Because later when you understand your soul, your soul comes out to fight and already has built-in swords within it.
Shaykhs Destroy Demons With Spiritual Swords of Light
When they see their soul come out, if you thought the ‘Matrix’ was nice, we have to make our own version. They can enter into a room and you see them sitting, but their soul comes out with all its majesty and immediately can clean out the room with its light. When its sword of light comes out, it hits everyone in the room. And the people, the insan (human being) and the people of souls, they feel an ecstasy and the devils are burning. This is the greatness of Allah’s (AJ) Might and Majesty.
Their swords don’t hurt humans. They feel an ecstasy, say, ‘Shaykh, there’s a lot of energy in that zikr (remembrance).’ Yeah, because there’s a lot of swords flying around in that zikr. And those swords are only meant to destroy devils and demons. And they see them, they see them flying. The clever ones don’t even enter into the building because they know, oh there’s going to be a sword fight up there. And this is a metaphorical/spiritual sword. There’s no daggers flying. It means these lights, they come out, the soul already knows how to use them. They want to be dressed by them. As soon as they been given that authority, their soul becomes more, more, more powerful. It’s a process through patience – that meditate, contemplate, keep coming, keep coming, your soul is getting powerful. Your hands are being heated. Your neck is heating up. You’re now understanding the power of your breath. And through your nafas, you begin to feel energy, coming in and coming out.
Kiraman Katibin: Noble Scribes With Honourable Character
And through your training with your qalam (pen) and writing, you’re now opening the realities of knowledge. Sifat Al-‘Alim can only open by the qalam. It’s Allah’s (AJ) command, Allama bil Qalam.
﴾اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ ﴿٣﴾ الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ ﴿٤﴾ عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ﴿٥
96:3-5 – “Iqra, wa rabbukal akram (3). Alladhee ‘allama bil Qalam (4). ‘Allamal insana ma lam ya’lam. (5)” (Surat Al-Alaq)
“Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous. (3) Who taught by the pen. (4) Taught man that which he knew not. (5)” (The Clot, 96:3-5)
Not Allama bil anything else. Because that secret is in the pen. When that pen is moving, Allah (AJ) is beginning now the opening of sifat Al-‘Alim. Allah’s (AJ) ancient knowledges are moving towards that soul. As soon as that servant is writing, writing, writing, living a life of trying to document the realities. Haq an Nabi ﷺ (someone sneezes). As soon as they’re writing, and saying, ‘Ya Rabbi, I’m writing because I want to be Kiraman Katibin, I want to be your honoured scribe. The honoured scribes who are documenting the haqqaiqs (realities) of Your Most Beloved in creation, Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.’
Contemplate on Just One Verse of Holy Qur’an to Realize Divinely Knowledges
If Allah (AJ) doesn’t see a pen, says then you’re not going to be a scribe. Why to send it? For just yourself? But as soon as you write, Allamal bil Qalam ma lam ya’lam (Holy Qur’an, 96:3-5), Allah (AJ) going to teach you that which nobody knows – very few on this Earth will ever know or talk about. And you begin to have all sorts of futuhaat in your heart. You read Holy Qur’an and you been trained to meditate; you have this sword of power that continuously sending energy to you and Allah (AJ) dressed upon you, sifat Al-‘Alim.
As soon as you read Holy Qur’an, you just read one verse and meditate. You don’t have to keep reading so much as if you’re going to finish it in one night. You read Surat YaSeen, 1, 2, 3 verses, you just sit in tafakkur (contemplation), Ya Rabbi, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as), 7 years on Suratul Baqarah. How much he was taking of realities? So, it means you take just one ayat verse, one Holy Hadith, and Ya Rabbi open for its haqqaiqs from the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, knowledges begin to flow into that servant. This means they’ve been given that sword, and all that’s required of them is they become from the people of good character. Keep their character. They’re the people of Allah’s (AJ) Honour.
Knights of Allah (AJ) Keep Honour and Respect
So, the shaykhs then keep teaching adab, that Allah (AJ) honouring you. Keep an honourable character. You’re a Knight, you’ve been Knighted. In dunya, they have a whole ceremony of Knighthood and it’s for men and women. They have a whole ceremony. What do you think happening in the heavens? When Allah (AJ) give isharat to Prophet ﷺ, that Knight that one, grant them the Zulfiqar. And the arrival of Imam ‘Ali (as), Sayyidina Ali (as) appears in his ruhaniyat (spirituality) and gives you. And if you didn’t have the ability to see it, the shaykh is seeing Imam ‘Ali (as), give the swords to the students.
And they carry that student, and the shaykh’s teaching then is keep your honour and respect. You’re a Knight of Allah’s (AJ) Kingdom in the presence of all Allah’s (AJ) magnificent creations. That, keep your character right, keep yourself to be upright, uphold their code. The sunnah of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, uphold the shari’ah (Divine Law) of Allah (AJ) to the best of your abilities. Then, they begin to teach when that sword is dressing the servant, blessing the servant, then they understand, what realities Allah (AJ) giving.
Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) Represents the Mulk & What is Visible
So, then just a simple understanding of this hijrah – as soon as the event of the hijrah came, that Prophet ﷺ has been ordered to migrate to Madinatul Munawwara (luminous city of Prophet ﷺ). He took with him for the migration Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as), and from Mecca they moved to the cave. From the cave of all secrets and realities, they entered into Madinatul Munawwara. That reality of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as), and the lam, lisanul haq (tongue of truth), which is the representation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Every time we say lam it means there is a tongue. That tongue speaks and that mulk (earthly realm) appears. The mulk has to be spoken, otherwise it’s hidden. It’s still malakut (heavenly realm). For when the malakut wants to appear into a mulk, that which is seen and visible, it has to be spoken by Prophet ﷺ, and then kun faya koon. It begins to appear. That lam is always Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and he took that reality of lam, was with Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) and they left from Mecca and went to Madina.
﴾إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ﴿٨٢
36:82 – “Innama AmruHu idha Arada shay an, an yaqola lahu kun faya koon.” (Surat YaSeen)
“His Command is when He Wills/Intends a thing, He says to it, “Be,” and it is!” (YaSeen, 36:82)
Sayyidina Imam ‘Ali (as) Represents the Malakut & What is Hidden
Then the reality of Imam ‘Ali (as) represents the alif of La ilaha illAllah. Because La ilaha illAllah is the fana, to be nothing. So, then Imam ‘Ali (as) said, ‘I, as a child, as a young boy, that Ya Sayyidi, Ya Rasulallah ﷺ, I will lie in your bed. And I will sacrifice myself for your nation to be accomplished, for your City of Lights to be open for all creation. I will sacrifice myself.’ So, he represents the Alif of Allah (AJ), the reality of La ilaha illAllah and Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) represents Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. Only in Muharram, the two are together.
لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌا رَسُولْ الله
“La ilaha illallahu Muhammadun Rasulallah”
“There is no deity but Allah, Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”
Muharram is the Only Month When the Two Khalifas Are Together
First month, the first of the external khalifas (deputy) that represent Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. And there are 12 months of Ahlul Bayt (as) (holy family of Prophet ﷺ) that represent the hidden reality of Prophet ﷺ. Only in Muharram, the two are together. Imam ‘Ali (as) is there and Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) is there. So, then as soon as Muharram opens, the lying of the bed that Imam ‘Ali (as) represents, ‘I sacrifice myself,’ he is representing the secret of La ilaha illAllah. And then Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) representing the secret of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. It means that this siddiqiya reality will always represent the face of Prophet ﷺ upon this earth. The external reality will always be the face of this nation. They went first towards Mecca. Imam ‘Ali (as) took the hidden position, that you sacrifice yourself. As a result of sacrificing the self, Allah (AJ) granted that reality of that hidden reality and both entered into Madinatul Munawwara.
As soon as they came to kill Imam ‘Ali (as), Allah (AJ) so pleased with that character of, ‘I want to sacrifice myself for Prophet ﷺ’, that he put upon his head, Sayyidina Jibreel (as). So, Gabriel (as) is in front and Mika’il (as) is behind. And Sayyidina Mika’il (as) came to his feet and guarded. In the time of Sayyidina Mahdi (as), there’s one called Al Mansoor, whom Allah (AJ) is pleased with, who brings and ushers in the government of Sayyidina Mahdi (as). And he has Sayyidina Jibreel (as) in front and Sayyidina Mika’il (as) behind.
All Tariqahs Come From Imam ‘Ali (as) and Sayyidina Abu Bakr (as)
So, it means these are tremendous realities, that Allah (AJ) grant to this nation from these realities. When Imam ‘Ali (as) is representing, La ilaha illAllah and Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq representing Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ, it means they are the two blades of the Zulfiqar. They are the two blades of this haqqaiq. And that’s why on the Ka’bah that represents the presence of Prophet ﷺ, there are two doors. All the turuqs (spiritual paths) come from these two Sahabi (Companions). And these two doors, Allah (AJ) inspired to put little hearts on them because they are the great lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
It means through these two tariqahs (spiritual paths), they say 42 are from Imam ‘Ali’s (as) siddiqiya reality, and one from Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq’s (as) reality. And in this Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq’s (as) reality, then the Ahlul Bayt (as) are coming in Naqshbandiya til Aaliyah. So, it has tremendous reality of the companions, siddiqiya reality of Prophet ﷺ dressed upon his companions, and the dress and the secret that Prophet ﷺ gave as his family inheritance to his Ahlul Bayt (as). They can give or not give, it’s not entitled for everyone. Whom Prophet ﷺ orders them to give, they dress them from that reality.
Lam Alif is the Secret of Every Reality of La Ilaha IllAllah Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ
So, as soon as this alif and the lam to understand, they come together to bring this reality of lam alif. When the Zulfiqar begins to form, this reality of Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ comes in front. Because in the lam, when it crosses over in the Zulfiqar, it comes to the front. So, that’s why then there are the 12 khalifas that represent the face of the nation. Reality of La ilaha illAllah and Imam ‘Ali (as) are now in the hidden reality. So, there’s no error. It’s exactly the way Allah (AJ) wanted it.
Imam ‘Ali (as) took a hidden road, and his descendants would be the hidden side of the moon and the support for the nation. And then, the face of all the khulafa, who carry the siddiqiya secrets and Prophetic inheritance, then would be in the front. This secret of lam alif is then the secret of every reality of La ilaha illAllah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ.
The People of Hu Carry the Hey of Hidayat
Its hand, the hand of this sword is actually the hey. The lam, the meem, when it comes together, it makes what? The hey. The hey is what? It’s Hu. So, where they hold of where La ilaha illAllaHu Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. So, where La ilaha illAllah, hey waw, unbroken, goes to Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ. They are the people of the Hu. They carry that in their hands. They carry the hey of Allah (AJ) and the oceans of hidayat and guidance. If they don’t carry that, then they’re not of that level of guidance. How they can guide if they’ve not been given a sword by Allah (AJ)? That, they don’t have knowledge and they don’t have qudra. But when they have been given, what they’re actually holding of this lam of realities of Prophet ﷺ, the haqqaiqs and oceans of power of Allah (AJ), they meet in the Hu. And that’s why in their zikrs is zikr “Hu.”
But these are the people of Hu. That this Hu, this hey, then is all the secret, because it has the hey for hidayat and guidance. But all their hidayat for those on the internet and looking for a shaykh, looking for guidance, their guidance must be based on love. Because the hey has a waw hidden inside of it. So, when you write the hey, there’s 3 ways to write hey. You write it like this (upwards), you can write it like this (sideways), and you can write it like a cave with a little hidden waw inside.
Follow Prophet’s ﷺ Chivalrous Character to Gain Allah’s (AJ) Divine Love
So, it means they carry hidayat and the core of their guidance, the power of their entire reality is Allah’s (AJ) Divinely Love, Qul inni kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni.
﴾قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّوْنَ اللَّـهَ فَاتَّبِعُوْنِيْ يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّـهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوْبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّـهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٣١
3:31 – “Qul in kuntum tuhibbon Allaha fattabi’oni, yuhbibkumullahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunobakum wallahu Ghaforur Raheem.” (Surat Ali-Imran)
“Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” (Family of Imran, 3:31)
Their whole life is itiba’ (following), and Allah (AJ) will grant them what? Yuhbibkumullah. That if you truly following, and you kept your chivalrous character, that whatever Allah (AJ) gave to you of life, of power, of authority, you didn’t cheat people. You didn’t steal from people. You didn’t try to abuse people. You tried your best to keep a loving way, a loving life. Allah (AJ) granted then to have Wadood (the Most Loving). And these are the true inheritors of that reality, and that’s why then they used to put above their zawiyas, the lam alif. Because for people who wouldn’t see the Zulfiqar, they would open it up a little bit more and show it with the two, with the lam and the alif.
Perfect Your Mulk to Open the Realities of Malakut Upon the Soul
And then many deep realities of just lam alif. This was just to understand the reality. That, Sayyidina Ali (as) represented La ilaha illAllah. His role as the hidden is to teach us how to lose the form, how to destroy the form, how to obliterate all the character, so that you can reach to your malakut. Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) comes in Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ, how to perfect your mulk, your form. If your form is not perfect, the way Prophet ﷺ wants it, the reality of La ilaha illAllah won’t open upon your soul.
So, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as) is the tallest finger [referring to the center finger on the hand]. And Prophet ﷺ describe as-Siddiq al-Mutlaq (as), ‘He excels all by what I have, what Allah (AJ) has poured into his heart.’
مَا صَبَ اللهُ فِيْ صَدْرِيْ شَيْءً اِلَا وَ صَبَبْتُهُ فِيْ صَدْرِي اَبِيْ بَكْر اَلصِّدِيقْ
“Ma sabAllahu fi Sadri shay an illa wa sababtuhu fi sadri Abi Bakr as Siddiq.”
Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whatever I received, I poured in the heart of Abu Bakr as Siddiq.”
Those Who Mimic Muhammadun RasulAllah ﷺ Will Be Dressed With Allah’s (AJ) Faiz
And the siddiqiya character, he gave everything for the love of Prophet ﷺ. It means that exemplar – and both of them are of immense malakut. But for us to be trained, they give themselves as a example. That, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq (as), Allah (AJ), Prophet ﷺ wants, ‘I want all of them to be trained by my most Beloved, my most Beloved, my Friend. My most Beloved companion, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (as). Make them like you because I love you. Make them to be siddiq, make them to be truthful, make them to love me more than they love themselves.’
لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
“La yuminu ahadukum hatta akona ahabba ilayhi min walidihi wa waladihi wan Nasi ajma’yeen.”
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
If their mulk, their form is an exemplar and mimicking Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ, no doubt, Allah (AJ) send upon them, ‘Now let Me dress them from the secrets of La ilaha illAllah, of their malakut and their angelic realities. And then all the faiz (downpouring blessings) and the realities of their angelic reality be dressed upon their souls.’
Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati ‘amma yasifoon, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaleen, walhamdulillahi rabbil ‘aalameen. Bi hurmati Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
